Blackwoods are shrubs and trees that grow to a medium height – 15 metres – and have an attractive rounded canopy that grows thickly to near ground level, pefect for windbreaks and large hedges. The foliage is an attractive mid green with yellow globular flowers in late winter followed by seed pods.

Silver wattle – Acacia dealbata.
Silver wattle is one of the fastest growing trees in Tasmania with mid grey green feathery leaves. It grows in a slightly rounded conical shape – similar to conifers, up to 30 metres tall. Prolific in flowering with small yellow Acacia flowers followed by seed pods in mid summer.
