I have homeschooled 3 boys both in South Australian and Tasmania from kindergarten through to year 12. Nature has been our biggest educator alongside elements of Waldorf Steiner Education and a general respect and reverence for the personal growth and inner resilience that occur within the "unhurried child's" life. My E-Book 'Coming Home' helps those looking for answers on how to start homeschooling in Australia and how to build their children into confident, content resourceful children. I faced a lot of challenges from our greater families, community and within myself in the beginning, the resources here are to help you find a journey that is right for you and your family.

How to Homeschool In Australia - the easy way. When we begin our homeschooling journey we really take a lot onto our shoulders. It is natural that over time each homschooling parent finds ways to make homeschooling more efficient (after all having children at home every hour of every day drives you to find easier ways). I found 3 areas that really helped:
- Use Nature as the background for studies
- Use routines to set up each day
- Plan your week ahead
I cover these aspects in detail in my ebook 'Coming Home'.

Planning takes the stress and worry out of homeschooling. Knowing your week and month ahead will help you prepare and save heaps of time. For example you may see things you need during the weekly shop saving a trip later. A Homeschool Calendar is a guide, your are the boss and can change the day as the family, weather or your mood changes.

I was looking for seed packets to sell our Native Re-Wilding seeds in. All of the seed packets I looked at were either too small, too big or too expensive. I also wanted something authentic and preferably made from recycled materials. Whilst collating our personal seed collection I noticed several packets that had become ‘unstuck’. This inspired me to fully open a damaged packet and use it as a template to make my own seed envelopes. As an envelope base I decided on using some of my out of date magazines as they were colourful, interesting and each packet would be unique. I had a lot of fun with these and hope you do too.
