Full of how-tos, including chemical free cleaning products, preserving techniques, mending and up-cycling, this book is a must for those seeking inspiration to change their lives to a more environmentally sustainable one.

In today’s online, click and collect, drop off and pick up society we can find ourselves looking for every way possible to save time in our day-to-day routine. In our desire to acquire more time for relaxation we may find ourselves seeking convenience over personal, environmental, ethical and moral choices……so what price do we pay for seeming convenience?

My personal outlook after reading Waste Free Living – Rachel.

The more I simplify my life the more I realise that convenience is an idea that can slowly sell our souls.

As humans we seek connection with all that surrounds us, however, the busier our lives become, the more this ‘convenience consumerism’ results in a progressive disconnection from ourselves, nature and the earth.

Over the past year as we have slowly changed the products we use and the shops we purchase our food, clothing and household items from, I have noticed a direct correlation between the way I feel and the way I connect to everything around me based on the way I consume.

This book is part of that journey and as a guide it has been invaluable. A must have book for those conscious about the footprint on earth.
