THE Bruny Bread Fridge

The Bruny Bread Fridge is one of Bruny Island's Hero stories. Starating with an old fridge to keep the bread out of the rain for locals to stop and buy a loaf of bread, and putting the 'witches hat' on top once the bread had run out. Over 5 years later there are now 3 fridges supplying sour dough bread, pocket bread and more. And they taste better than ever. John cannot keep up with demand in summer selling over 300 loaves per day with groups of travellers posing and taking photos. The Bread Fridge is less than a minutes drive from thelittlegardenfarm, with some of our camping and staying guests walking up the road to sample fresh sourdough.
