The littlegardenfarm’s Holly Tree Hut is a centrally located, cozy, rustic retreat in the heart of Bruny Island. Your cosy shepherds hut is a place to nourish the soul, make lifelong Island memories, connect with nature and take in all that Bruny Island has to offer.
Nestled in natural surrounds your cosy shepherds hut offers unique, eco-friendly accommodation with everything you need for a relaxing stay – including organic and spray free breakfast provisions . Our focus is an eco friendly stay with low environmental impact. Wherever possible we use natural products, minimal packaging and provide homemade or local ly sourced organic produce. Holly Tree Hut is a place to nourish the soul, make lifelong Island memories, enjoy nature and connect with all that Bruny Island has to offer.
The hut features three compact rooms: and includes –
Lounge: Two-seater leather couch, smart TV with Netflix, and breakfast bench. Ample high quality reading content is available relating to Bruny Island, Nature, Natural Living and much more.
Kitchen: Equipped with fridge, sink, utensils, cooking pots and pans, stove top and microwave. We provide and use natural cleaning products.
Complimentary Breakfast and extras include; pantry basics, freshly picked spray free greens, freshly baked bread, free range eggs, milk, butter, seasonal fruit, local loose leaf teas and coffee. Where possible we provide organic produce with minimal packaging.
Bedroom: Double ‘cabin-style’ bed with shelving and calming décor. The bed is against the hut wall meaning one person exits via the end of the bed whilst the other exits via the side. The ultra comfortable double mattress, abundance of pillows and mixed feather and down quilt make for a restful nights sleep.
THINGS TO NOTE
Our outdoor hot water shower is attached to the deck and provides a unique all season showering experience. The restroom is an eco-friendly, no odour, Composting Greenloo GL 90. Both rooms are approximately 2 metres from the main entrance of the shepherds hut attached to the outdoor deck.
We use Australian made Salus Body Products which are naturally nourishing, without the added ‘nasties’.
Timber interiors and full insulation keep the hut cozy year-round. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck or unwind by the outdoor fireplace under the stars.
Organic Breakfast and Spray Free Produce When You Book Through Us
It is part of our ethos to do what we can for the environment and health. Every stay booked direct through us comes with organic milk, eggs, butter, coffee, tea and Muesli. We complement this with spray free greens and or produce from the garden and fruit from our local green grocer. *Campers an also buy spray free greens from us as an extra.

Whether you're heading north or south, our central location ensures you're never far from a stunning beach, walking trail, or artisan food experience.

The Woodlander @ The Little Garden Farm Bruny Island
The Woodlander is your private Farmstay Campsite located on the farm 600 meters from the Homestead.
The campsite is on the edge of the forest next to a dam with running water in winter and spring.
Centrally located on the island, it is a great base camp to explore during the day, go to dinner in the evening and relax with the sound of the surf in a campsite just for you.
We think this is the best campsite for birding on Bruny. You are on the edge of 70 acres of forest with a variety of habitats with a large and growing bird list and we have swift parrots on the property most days in season. Just ask us for more info.
The Woodlander is a private campsite exclusive to one booking at a time. It has a modern composting toilet, small hut for wet weather and grass and graveled site.
