About The Little Garden Farm

We are a 5th generation farming family originally from South Australia. Before moving to Bruny Island we farmed beef, wool, lambs, poultry, hay and grains.

In the 1990’s and 2000’s we developed a tree nursery and revegetation business on our farm where we established trees for farmers, councils and government departments.

In 2010 we moved to the high rainfall zone to produce beef and wool. On our new farm we began farming Bio-dynamically in 2012 under Alex Podolinsky’s Demeter methods.

In 2016 We moved to Bruny Island, eventually purchasing our current farm in the valley.

Our life passion is for the earth, growing health-giving food and working in collaboration with nature. Our aspiration is to hand on land and practices which support future generations and communities.
