Very well researched and simply put. An easy read for everyone to come to terms with how we, each of us, can change the world in small ways. 

Yes it is stark in the stories it tells, and Walsh does not hold back on the flaws of modern humanity and the global order. 

Moving through the elements with cases on each – Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Walsh explores the fundamental problems we face.

It is hard to face these things, and at times stressful to read. I personally can only read such books in parts at a time. Where we are producing food, such topics really bring home how serious the future will be. 

But read we must if we need to bring greater focus on changing for the better. And this book is one that covers most of the problems we face as an overview. It does not bog down, or get too heavy to read.
